Bottle deposit (Pfand)
The German 0.25 EUR Einwegpfand and other EU deposit-return schemes.
When tag deposit + country DE, add 0.25 EUR per bottle.
California CRV
The California Redemption Value on beverage containers, taxable, by tag.
When tag crv5 + state CA, add 0.05 USD per container.
US bottle deposits
Bottle bills in Michigan, Oregon, New York, and seven more states.
When tag deposit + state in the bottle-bill list, add the state deposit.
Core charge
Refundable deposits on remanufactured parts, returned when the core comes back.

eWaste recycling fee

Battery recycling fee

PaintCare fee
Paint stewardship fees by container size, in PaintCare states.

Eco-participation
France's visible eco fee on electronics and furniture, shown separately by law.

Checkout bag fee
Mandated carryout bag charges, driven by a theme checkbox.

US retail delivery fees
Colorado Retail Delivery Fee
0.31 USD per delivery, non-taxable, itemized as "Retail Delivery Fees".
When state CO and the cart is not only gift cards, add 0.31 USD once.
Minnesota Road Improvement Fee
0.50 USD on qualifying deliveries of 100 USD or more, with the mandated label.
When state MN + subtotal ≥ 100, add 0.50 USD once.
Tariffs & import
Tariff surcharge
Pass on import tariffs transparently, by country of origin or HS code.
When origin CN, add 10% of those items (or of their cost).
International order fee
Customs paperwork and handling on orders shipped abroad.
When country is not one of your home markets, add a handling fee.
Handling & logistics
Heavy item surcharge
Per-kilogram fees on heavy and bulky orders.
When cart weight ≥ 20 kg, add a per-kg surcharge.
Heat pack & cold shipping
Winter protection for live plants, reptiles, and perishables.

Fragile handling fee
Extra packaging for glass and breakables, by variant metafield.

Small order surcharge

When subtotal ≤ 50 EUR, add a 5 EUR surcharge.
Bulk order packing fee
Packing materials for very large orders, by quantity thresholds.
When 20+ items in the cart, add a packing fee.
Dropship vendor fee
Handling surcharges on items shipped from partner warehouses.
When vendor is your dropship partner, add a handling fee.
Fuel surcharge
A capped percentage that tracks delivery costs.
When any order ships, add 3%, at most 15.00.
Store policy & services
Gift wrap fee
Charge wrapping per item or per order, driven by the customer's choice.
When the line has Gift wrap: yes, add the wrapping fee.
Engraving fee
Charge only the items that are actually personalized.
When the line has an Engraving property, add the engraving fee.
Order protection fee
Optional shipping protection via a cart checkbox.
When attribute protection:yes, add 2% of the subtotal.
White-glove fee
Premium handling for expensive items, by unit price.
When an item costs 500+, add white-glove handling.
Rush & weekend fees
Cutoff times, weekend dispatch, and peak season surcharges.
When Saturday or after 14:00, add the rush fee.
Waive fees for VIP & wholesale
Discount codes, customer tags, and spend thresholds that remove fees.
When code FEEFREE or tag wholesale, waive the fee.
Subscription setup fee
A one-time charge when a subscription starts.
