FlexiFeesFuel surcharges on Shopify

When carrier fuel surcharges bite, pass a share on transparently: a percentage cart fee (for example 3% of the subtotal) with a minimum of 1.00 and a maximum of 15.00. The surcharge scales with order value inside fair bounds, appears as its own labeled line, and is one edit to change or remove when costs normalize.

The percentage is computed on the discounted subtotal and the caps clamp the result, so the line always lands between 1.00 and 15.00.
Scoping ideas
- Only where delivery costs spike: add state or country conditions.
- Only heavy orders: add cart weight ≥ 10, since fuel hits heavy parcels hardest.
- Waive for pickup: a cart attribute from your pickup flow can exclude the fee.
