FlexiFeesMattress recycling fees on Shopify

Four states require retailers, including online sellers, to collect a per-unit mattress recycling fee: California (18.00 USD since April 2026), Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Oregon. On Shopify, create one fixed per-product fee per state, matched by product type Mattress and the customer state condition, so each program's fee appears itemized on qualifying orders only.

Create one fee per state so amounts stay independent, and update them when the Mattress Recycling Council adjusts rates. The fee applies per unit, including foundations and futons; quantity is handled automatically.
