Waiving fees for the right customers
Last updated: July 18, 2026
Every FlexiFees fee can carry exemptions through negative conditions: discount code is not one of FEEFREE waives it by code, customer tag is not one of wholesale exempts B2B accounts, and a lifetime spend threshold retires it for loyal customers. The fee applies only when no exemption matches.
The three waiver levers
| Waive for | Condition to add | Works for |
|---|---|---|
| Anyone with a code | Discount code is not one of FEEFREE (or * for any code) | Everyone, including guests |
| Wholesale / B2B | Customer tag is not one of wholesale | Logged-in customers |
| Loyal customers | Total spent ≤ 999.99, or order count ≤ 4 | Logged-in customers |
Read the loyalty rows as "the fee applies while lifetime spend is at most 999.99": once a customer crosses 1,000, the condition stops matching and the fee retires itself.
Worked example: handling fee with all three
A 4.90 handling fee that support can waive, wholesale never sees, and VIPs outgrow:
- Fixed cart fee "Handling", 4.90, match all:
- discount code is not one of FEEFREE
- customer tag is not one of wholesale
- customer total spent is less than or equal to 999.99
Support hands out FEEFREE case by case; sales tags B2B accounts once; loyalty takes care of itself. The same recipe attaches to any fee on this site, from small order surcharges to international handling.
