Fixed fees

Last updated: July 18, 2026

A fixed fee charges a flat amount. As a cart fee it is added once per order, which suits delivery fees and small order surcharges. As a per-product fee it is multiplied by the quantity of matching items, which suits deposits, recycling fees, and core charges.

Fixed cart fee: once per order

The whole order gets one flat charge when the conditions match. Real examples:

Fixed per-product fee: amount × quantity

Each matching item is charged, and quantity is respected automatically: 18 bottles with a 0.25 EUR deposit produce one fee line of 4.50 EUR. The product conditions select which items count. Real examples:

Details worth knowing

  • Amounts are in your store currency and work on multi-currency storefronts.
  • Discounts do not change a fixed fee. To waive it for specific customers or codes, add a discount code or customer tag condition.
  • Taxable or not, per fee. CRV is taxable in California; Colorado's delivery fee must not be taxed. One toggle covers both cases.
  • Minimum and maximum caps do not apply to fixed fees; the amount is already exact.
